Who are you? 

Laura Collings

Why CrossFit?

Because gym is boring. There are only so many Smith machine squats and leg presses you can do before it becomes a chore.

I wanted something that was a lifestyle and CrossFit is exactly that.

What is your favourite WOD?

I love long, chipper WODs where you hate life while doing it, but love the feeling when you can finally lay on the ground when it’s over. I also love anything that involves skipping, running or cleans. That’s my thing!

Who inspires you? 

I don’t really have anyone in particular, but more so the people I am so lucky to have around me and train with. I’m on a fitness journey with all these people and we get through it together.

Advice for new comers?

It’s so easy to get caught up in wanting to be good and you look around at all these people who can lift so much more and run so much faster. Like Alex (the best coach in the world) says, it’s a sport that takes Years to be good at. Trust the process!
